About Me

I was orphaned at a young age and spent seven years in a children's home. Before I found my identity in Jesus Christ I was a certified mess.

I was blown away the day I discovered that I was precious in the eyes of my creator. I'm driven to educate Christians about the special challenges orphaned and vulnerable children face. I am especially drawn to the vision of the local church reaching into the lives of orphans and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

The global orphan crisis goes way beyond childhood and affects many generations to come. Therefore it is crucial the body of Christ is well versed in what God has to say about orphans.  My heart aches especially for local orphans, who despite growing up in a wealthy nation are spiritually and emotionally deprived of love.  Many children have aged out of the system in this country and have no family support.

My heart for orphans has developed out of the pain of my own brokenness and need for restoration.  I hope God will use my life to help bring restoration to the injustices I have witnessed first hand in this world.  God is calling every christian to act on behalf of orphaned and vulnerable children. Not everyone can adopt, but everyone can do something. He has called me to be a voice.  I appreciate you reading my blog:) THANKS!
